What operating system do the computers run?
Ubuntu Linux with a light desktop, Google Chrome and common apps. Everything a person would do in a browser, plus Linux desktop apps and command-line tools.
Do I have to buy proxies?
No. Without a proxy, a computer uses your server's own internet connection. For a fixed home-ISP IP in a particular country, buy a residential proxy from any provider and paste it into the computer's settings.
How many computers fit on a server?
About one AI employee per 2 CPU cores and 4 GB of RAM. Our Small server runs 1, Medium 3, Large 7 and Extra large 14. See server sizes.
What survives a restart?
Everything in the employee's home folder: logins, Chrome profile, files, installed apps and settings. Restarts and updates don't log you out.
