How to give Claude its own 24×7 computer

A step-by-step guide to letting Claude work on an always-on cloud computer with saved logins, so it keeps working when your laptop is closed.

Claude is great at doing things in a browser, but when it runs in your own Chrome, your laptop has to stay awake and you end up babysitting it. This guide shows how to give Claude a computer of its own in the cloud, so it can log in once, work on a schedule and keep going while you sleep.

What you'll set up

  • A cloud computer for Claude: a full desktop with Chrome, running 24×7.
  • One connector in Claude, so Claude can see and control that computer.
  • A name and job for the computer (we'll call it Riya), so you can just say "Riya, do X".

You need a Claude plan that supports custom connectors, and an AgentDaftar account (free for 14 days).

Step 1: Create your office

Sign up at app.agentdaftar.com. AgentDaftar creates a private server for your company (or links a VPS you already have with one command). This is where Claude's computer will live, along with its logins and files.

Step 2: Add an AI employee

Go to AI Employees → Add. Give it a name and a job, for example Riya, Outreach Manager. Choose where its internet should come from:

  • The server's own connection, which is fine for most work.
  • A residential proxy in a country you choose, if the accounts it uses expect a steady home location. Paste the proxy, press Test, and you'll see the IP, city and provider.

Step 3: Log in once

Open Riya's computer from the panel. You'll see a normal desktop with Chrome. Sign in to the accounts Riya needs (Gmail, your CRM, Instagram, anything). The logins stay saved on Riya's computer.

For passwords Claude should type later (for example when a session expires), save them in Office → Files → Vault instead of telling Claude. Claude can type them without ever seeing them.

Step 4: Connect Claude

  1. In the panel, under AI Employees, copy your office connector link. It looks like https://yourcompany.c.agentdaftar.com/mcp/office.
  2. In Claude, open Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector.
  3. Paste the link, add it, click Connect and sign in with AgentDaftar.

That's it. The same connector works for every employee you add later.

Step 5: Give Riya work

Open a new chat in Claude and say:

Riya, open Gmail and summarise today's unread emails.

Claude picks Riya, reads her office brief, takes a screenshot of her computer and gets to work. You can watch live from the panel and click Take over anytime.

Step 6: Make it a routine

Teach Riya the job once, then turn it into a playbook so every future run follows the same steps:

Riya, save what you just did as a playbook called "inbox-summary".

Then create a repeating task ("Inbox summary, daily at 9:00") and, if your Claude plan can schedule tasks, schedule a prompt like:

Call use_employee Riya, then office_start, then do the due tasks following the playbooks; update the tasks and write a handover.

Each morning Claude starts the shift on Riya's computer, does the work and writes a handover. Your laptop can stay closed.

Keep it safe

  • Leave approvals on for messages, payments and deletes. Claude will ask on Telegram and wait for your yes.
  • Mark sensitive vault entries ask first.
  • Remember /stop on Telegram stops every AI at once.
