Why websites block AI agents, and how fixed IPs help

AI agents get captchas, security checks and locked accounts because they log in from changing data-center IPs. How a fixed residential IP per agent keeps logins stable.

You set up an AI agent, it logs in to a client's account, and the next day there's a security check, a captcha wall or a locked account. It's rarely the AI's fault. It's where the AI is logging in from.

How websites decide you're suspicious

Big platforms watch every login for signs of a stolen account. A few signals matter most:

  • IP address and location. A login from a new city or country is a red flag. A login from a data center (where cloud servers live) is an even bigger one, because that's where bots live.
  • Sudden changes. Yesterday Mumbai, today Frankfurt, tomorrow Virginia.
  • Device and browser. A brand-new browser with no history looks different from one that's been used for months.
  • Time zone and language. A browser saying "London" on an Indian IP is odd.

Most AI agent tools run on shared cloud infrastructure, so they hit all four signals at once.

What a fixed residential IP changes

A residential proxy routes the agent's traffic through a normal home internet connection, from a real provider like Airtel, Jio or Comcast, in the city you choose. When that IP stays fixed for one agent, the account sees the same home location every day, like a person logging in from their office.

Pair it with:

  • A matching time zone on the agent's computer.
  • A persistent browser profile, so cookies and history build up over time.
  • One identity per account group. Don't let ten clients' accounts share one IP.

How AgentDaftar sets this up

Each AgentDaftar AI employee has its own cloud computer and its own internet settings:

  1. Buy a residential (preferably static) proxy from any provider, in the client's country or city.
  2. Paste it into the employee's computer settings and press Test. You'll see the IP, city and provider before you save.
  3. The employee's Chrome profile, logins and time zone stay the same across restarts.

Now one employee can manage a Mumbai client from a Mumbai IP, and another a London client from a London IP, without the accounts ever crossing.

Play fair

Fixed IPs are for keeping legitimate logins stable: your accounts and your clients' accounts, managed the way a person would. They're not a way around platform rules, rate limits or bans. Keep a human approving posts and messages, and stay within each platform's limits.
